Thankful For Fall!

Posted by on

"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”

The leaves, the crisp air, pumpkins, plaid ... all the "fall feels." Fall makes us feel a certain way, and as you know, there are certain things that we feel and see that automatically associate with the fall season and our favorite (fall) holiday - Thanksgiving.

From eye-catching entryways, to sleek table settings, to fashionable fireplaces, there’s plenty of space to embrace everything you love about this season and bring those fall feelings to life. We've pulled some simple yet beautiful home decor inspo to carry you through the fall season + the Thanksgiving holiday.

To start, is there anything more “fall” than apples and pumpkins?! Both easily add a natural element and color + can be added to wreathes, candle holders, or stacked in a bowl for a festive centerpiece. Leaves & branches also make for great fall decor and can be found right in your yard.

ACCESSORIZE YOUR ENTRANCE:
Deck out your front stoop with pumpkins of varying shapes, sizes, and colors and some charming mums. A wreath instantly brings a seasonal vibe to your home as well. You can purchase one that's ready to go or DIY using natural elements like twigs, leaves and pinecones.
DRESS UP YOUR FIREPLACE MANTEL:
The mantel is one of the easiest places to decorate for each season and does a fabulous job at giving that warm welcome. To start, add one large item that will act as your centerpiece, whether it be a piece of art or a large wreath. Decorate on either side with items of varying heights - like candlestick holders, branches, pumpkins, etc., + consider adding a lush garland made with various greens, pine cones, and vibrant oranges.
Here’s to feeling, here's to seeing. Here's to the season of giving thanks and giving back, however we can. Now go get creative and bring on those rich, warm color schemes, textures and a few pretty, seasonal touches.
Love,
Velvet
XOXO
