What Does Your Protection Plan Include?

One-Year Accidental Damage Protection

Enjoy one full year of protection against accidental damage to your eyewear, including both frames and lenses. Coverage begins on your purchase date and remains in effect for twelve months.

Accident Protection

Your Protection Plan covers accidental damage including:

• Scratched or cracked lenses
• Broken frames
• Bent frames
• Broken hinges
• Missing screws
• Other accidental damage resulting from normal everyday use

One Replacement Claim

Each Protection Plan includes one replacement claim during the one-year coverage period. If your original style is no longer available, you'll be able to select a comparable style from our current collection.

Our Customer Care Team is dedicated to making the replacement process quick and hassle-free. Most claims are reviewed within 2–3 business days.

Gift Friendly

Purchasing as a gift? No problem. Your Protection Plan is fully transferable to the recipient.

Risk-Free Cancellation

If you change your mind, you may cancel your Protection Plan within the first 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no claim has been filed.

Free Recycling

As part of our commitment to sustainability, if requested, we'll provide a prepaid return shipping label so you can send your damaged eyewear back to us for responsible recycling at no additional cost.

• Coverage begins on your purchase date.

• Replacement eyewear provided under this plan is not covered by the original Protection Plan.

How to File a Claim

Submitting a claim is simple.

Email cs@velveteyewear.com and include:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Order number
• A brief description of the damage
• Photos of the damaged eyewear

Once your claim is received, our team will review it, typically within 2–3 business days. If approved, we'll email you a prepaid return shipping label for your damaged eyewear. Once your return is received, we'll process your replacement and keep you updated throughout the entire process.

Warranty vs. Protection Plan

Your Manufacturer's Warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal use.

Your Velvet Eyewear® Protection Plan protects against accidental damage that occurs after purchase, helping you replace your eyewear if life happens. Because accidents aren't manufacturing defects, they are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
